Sound familiar?

Healthcare shouldn't feel this hard.

If any of these sound like your last doctor's visit, you're not alone.

Weeks to get in.

By the time there's an opening, you've either gotten better or gotten worse.

Rushed out the door.

The visit ends before you've finished explaining what's wrong.

Bounced around.

Referral after referral, and nobody connects the dots.

Bills you didn't see coming.

Copays, deductibles, and surprise charges for every small thing.

You deserve a provider who knows your name, your story, and your goals.

That's why Meg built a different kind of practice.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Still have a question?

Call or text with questions: (904) 657-5736

What is DPC?

Direct Primary Care is healthcare without the insurance hassle. Instead of billing insurance, you pay a simple monthly membership for unlimited access to your provider. That means no copays or surprise bills, more time with your provider, easy access by text, phone, or same-day appointments, and care decisions made by you and your provider, not an insurance company.

Do I still need insurance?

DPC works alongside your insurance. Many patients keep a high-deductible plan, catastrophic plan, or health share for major needs like hospital stays or specialists. Your membership covers everyday care: checkups, sick visits, preventive care, and prescription management.

Will insurance cover the membership?

Most traditional insurance plans don't cover DPC memberships. Some health share programs offer discounts if you're enrolled in DPC.

Are there long-term contracts?

No. Memberships are month-to-month. Cancel anytime with 30 days' written notice.

What if I need something after hours?

Text us. We'll respond as quickly as we can and guide your next steps. If it's a true emergency, always call 911. In most cases, we can handle things without an ER or urgent care visit.

What if I have an HMO?

Many people with an HMO keep an in-network PCP for referrals and insurance requirements while using DPC for ongoing, personal care. We're happy to coordinate and share records.

What about labs and imaging?

Most routine labs are drawn right in the office at a membership rate. For imaging, we work with local, independent imaging centers for high-quality studies at a fraction of typical hospital costs.

How do I cancel?

Give 30 days' notice by calling, texting, or emailing the office. If you rejoin later, a re-enrollment fee may apply.

Stop fighting to be heard. Start feeling like yourself again.

Join St. Augustine Direct Primary Care today. Month-to-month, no contracts.
